The concentration in Applied Mathematics is designed to meet the needs of the scientific, technical, and computer-based economy and to prepare the student for graduate study. Our curriculum provides students with state-of-the-art practices and technologies, to ensure that they ae equipped with real-world, hands-on experience.

[email protected] 303-615-0746 Dr. Sundbye's WebsiteThe goals of this program are to provide students with broad-based and coherent preparation in the various disciplines that constitute the mathematical sciences and the pedagogical knowledge of mathematics needed to begin a career as a middle or high school mathematics teacher.
Obtaining this degree, however, does not require that you obtain licensure to be a middle or high school mathematics teacher. This concentration also prepares students for continued study of the mathematical sciences at the graduate level.

This concentration also prepares students for continued study of the mathematical sciences at the graduate level.
