Tomiko Jones - The Intimate Infinite
January 3 – March 22, 2025
Tomiko Jones’ solo exhibition contemplates the intricate relationship between humanity and the landscape. The Intimate Infinite features lens-based investigations portraying the dichotomy and dialogue between the expansive, sublime beauty of the natural world and the nuanced, profound depths of personal interior spaces. Jones’ photographic interventions traverse time and concepts of belonging, guiding viewers on a journey through landscapes that capture the transition from internal to external realms, from the known to the unknowable. Deeply rooted in historical artistic traditions, Jones’ work also addresses contemporary concerns with urgency and relevance. Coinciding with Denver’s Month of Photography Biennial, the exhibition includes a month-long artist residency and public programming.
