Location: Plaza Building
Description: Plaza Building is closed until further notice due to a water main break. Water has been shut off to the entire building and it is closed to the public.
Students and employees who use the building should prepare for an extended closure as crews work to identify and repair a water line that runs beneath the building’s concrete floor.
Scheduled classes in the Plaza Building will be moved online or relocated to other locations. Impacted students and faculty members will receive details via email and this updates page.
Faculty and staff members will be allowed to temporarily enter the building via badge access to retrieve belongings, but extended time in the building will not be permitted. Those retrieving belongings should enter through the door closest to the Health Center on the southwest corner of the building.
The Health Center at Auraria is providing telehealth and limited in-person appointments until water is restored to the Plaza Building. Please visit the Health Center website or call 303-615-9999 for more information related to appointments and services.
The Access Center – Disability Support Services located in Plaza 122 is currently operating remotely. Please visit our MSUDenver.edu/access or call 303-615-0200 to learn more about scheduling appointments and accessing accommodation services.

HVAC Repairs in JSSB Dec. 13 and 14
Students and faculty members impacted:
Date/Date Range: December 13-14, 2024
Location: Jordan Student Success Building (JSSB)
Description: HVAC Vendor will be making repairs this coming Friday (12/13) and Saturday (12/14) to the JSSB HVAC system. All four floors on the Auraria Parkway wing of the building will be down. Please see highlighted area that will be impacted.
Remedy/Solution: The impacted areas will be preconditioned the night before to achieve comfortable conditions while the system is down.

From a campus phone, dial 911 for Auraria Police. This includes landline phones located in offices, classrooms and lounges.
Text-a-Tip: 720-593-TIPS (8477). This is a way to discreetly report suspicious activity to Auraria Police. Text-a-Tip is also a way for those with hearing or speech loss to reach the ACPD by phone. Photos may be included with text messages.
